2022 rocket3 with quick shifter

Concur. I got about 25k miles out of my front brake pads as I religiously downshift when slowing (mainly because I love the sound of the Werkes exhaust). I find that if I'm not at zero throttle the downshifts can be a bit clunky. If I'm off the throttle completely they are smooth like butter. Similarly for the up shifts... The more throttle I'm giving it, the smoother the upshifts are. That's fine by me as there not much of a better feeling than being at WOT and just clicking through the gears on this bike!

it has been over 3 times now, while it shifts, it's not very smooth and during shifts it hangs up, meaning that it won't change gears, only on the second try will it shift, it' s going back for the 4th time

thanks

The manual says the QS won’t work at very low engine speeds. This implies that there is an rpm above which it will shift smoothly. What is it? Especially from 1st to 2nd with the throttle pegged.

This sounds a bit like the TSA isn't actually turned on in the ECU & you're just "old school clutchless shifting" Not having the TSA enabled in the ECU would give you the shifts you're describing.
The TSA has to be enabled in 2 places, one in the ECU and 2 on the TFT, are you sure both are turned to enabled?

Curious - how does one check if it is enabled in ECU?

with a scan tool or dealer tool. The dealer should have turned it on when it was fitted, but maybe not done or turned off somehow.
Thank you. If it is not turned off in the ECU, would it be possible to turn it on in the TFT display? (Asking because my QS occasionally does not shift as expected - it is enabled in the display)

I don't know for sure on that, it was just a possibility. Another thought just popped into my head as to erratic TSA functioning & that is if you've had the battery disconnected at some stage & you had to go back into the TFT & enable TSA, have you had to do this? If so, did you do the re-learn for the TSA?

It's a simple procedure of going through each gear for at least 10 seconds each. It was written in another post by someone else, I saved a copy. Try the below & see if it works or not. Each time I've done this the TSA works 100% right after the last 10 seconds in 6th.
