2005 ignition switch removal

I have to replace my ignition switch due to something going south in the tumbler area, making very difficult to get the key in. Does anyone have an easy way to get the tamper resistant screws out ?

Hi folks I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me how to remove the ignition switch from my 2007 R3 Classic. It looks like a lot more work than I anticipated. I took off the headlights and saw that the switch is retained by a bracket, I'm not sure how to remove the bracket. Any advice...

a long time ago i broke off half of my key in there and removed the switch. i don't remember having any trouble i am thinking they were regular bolts or maybe were loose.
i thought is the guard dawg bypass. they have one that would be easy and one more complicated but a rocket scientist should not have a problem.
if i had removed them i would have used a sharp chisel to get them loose or an bolt remover that grabs the outside of the screw
just throwing out ideas take die grinder and cut a grove for screwdriver.
cut or grind off the heads.

Fred, use a Dremel with a cut off wheel to make a groove in the top, then turn it out with a screwdriver.
