Now you got me picturing three big AMAL GP carbs with a remote float.   Gasoline dribbling from the float and spitting back out of the carbs at idle. Me sitting astride the bike, reaching over with my right hand to tickle the remote float bowl before startup!! Wearing a fire extinguisher strapped to my right leg and a spare on my back for a back up.
Weber mate, much better than that Amal rubbish

So Blowme, any news from your man at Triumph?

Today Triumph tech man Mark said that the only cause he could think of was a dirty throttle pot (tps) giving the wrong signals and tripping the ECU out.
I had a good day, Tuneboy diag's showed -25 deg C air temp. I cleared the code and it seems to run a lot better. Hung the temp sensor out behind the blower, now giving a much better a/f ratio.
Bike runs great with a 780 idle every time and pulls like a train.
