12 min tune .. and fuel tank

Two for one, why waste a post...

Fuel: Has anyone ever run their tank dry, and if so what mileage did they run out at? Were there any problems when refilling and re-starting?


Tuning: If my UK configuration bike was re-tuned to a French configuration, would a 12 min tune restore it back to the original UK settings?
 
No for the 12 min tune altering french to uk settings

Get a tune boy then you will not have to bother french dealer

Ran my tank to 180 miles once , chickened out to go any further
 
When I bought the bike and rode it home from Doncaster I was unaware that the fuel guage was knackered. I ran dry as I headed down the A1 . The bike was refilled and restarted by the AA with no probs ( althought I had to wait on a slip road as I couldnt push it.

What's the difference between a UK config vs a French config?

(no smart ass responses like the exhaust goes OUI! or such)
 
I ran out of fuel ones!

At 232km, restarting was no problem, pushing it to a gas station was :?

French bikes are limited on bhp by law. Don't know the limit, but its low.
 
Thanks Guys! I guess Tuneboy would be the answer....

French configuration is limited to around 106cv..
 
Imagine having a busa and having to limit it to a 100 horses , twat of an idea :lol:
