New to me 08 R3T and lovin it. Wife's hating the spine jars from bumps... Have set preload down to 2 (second click clockwise) but not a vast change. Any recommendations for preload or alternatively aftermarket suspension options? Thanks from NZ
Yeah... Did read about it and wife thought she'd be fine (had a FXCW-C HD previously that was a bit bumpy) but thinking the trophy and the FJR1300 we had since set a different standard for her... She loves the bike the seat and the rides, just not the bumps...

That's about my only real complaint with mine. Spine compression on the big jolts. I have the newer rocket, so not to much help for you on the dual shockers. But theres lots of guys here that can help.
Alot of people like that progressive 444 and you probably have access to ikon in that same price change will be a noticeable upgrade. I had a set of ikon 600 us dollars, gave them to a member he snd his wife loved them no more complaints. They rolled out better than 450 pounds.
Hey she might only be a 2008 but its the hottest motorcycle ever made spend up now if you hoon solo, top speed stuff, suspension is the best upgrades you will do to the big girl. Race tech emulators ( others available now same price range) up front are not expensive and improve forks alot. If you hoon or go fast, something you can adjust slow speed compression, high speed compression, height. It changes the ride. You can use ohlin 777 for hd readily available everywhere about 750 you will have to change eyelets no problem. Some pictures of an ole 08 ready for pasture
