    Any of you with aftermarket pipes looking to sell your old silencer brackets and chrome covers? I have the silencers but have misplaced all the brakets and covers to install them. I took them off to put on the Jardines....I'm going back to quiet. Thanks!

  6. Plugs maybe?

    I'm starting to get a "cutting out" feeling from the bike around 2200 rpms....almost like a "running out of fuel" feel. When I accelerate from there it's fine. Lower rpm is fine. I have about 20,000 on it now and I'm wondering if it might be the plugs. anyone experience this yet?

  7. Changing brake pads

    Anything I should know before doing this? Can I change the pads without messing with the fluid...ie: bleeding the brakes? They work fine. The pads are just starting to get a little too worn down. Thanks!

  16. fuel guage mod

    Has anyone figured out a way for a "do it yourself" mod so the fuel light comes on later? I don't have a manual yet but I'd think you could adjust the pick-up on the sesor to come on later. Anyone know of anything yet?

  17. Can I make it breathe better?

    With the K&N filter, should I be doing somthing with area from which the filter draws its air? Seems like that area under the seat is awfully constricted. I also have an aftermarket seat...the Corbin Dual.

  18. operating before new tune

    I just changed my Cat box and put on a couple TOR's. The closest Rocket dealer is about 30 miles away. Will hurt the bike to drive that far? Would it help to do a start up tune? Is that 12 minutes on idle?

  19. DYI Cat box

    Has anyone tried to gut the cat box themselves? Looks like it would be worth a try. The worst that could happen is you'd have to by a new cat bypass for $350.

  20. Kury ISO Grips?

    Seems like someone out there put ISO Grips on their Rocket. They warn about end weights not working with some models. Who's done this and which part # did you use. I had ISO's on my last bike and there's no comparison on comfort. Thanks!
