  1. Suspension questions

I set the shocks on my new Rocket Touring at 3. The ride feels harsh. Regardless of number of riders/luggage, which direction would make the ride softer? I'm assuming towards 1. Second question: What after market shocks have people put on and how did they help? Thanks.
  2. Windshield hardware

My new rocket came with the sixteen inch shield. I want to get a taller one from clear view and easily switch from one to another. Where do I get the chrome hardware to put on the extra shield? I don't see where triumph sells it.
  3. Tight cable

I just brought home my new 2012 Touring. I've already posted one question and now have another. And I suspect I'll have several more. But that's why these forums are so great. My question is this. I had the Rivco risers put on. The front brake cable has no slack in it when the bars are...
  4. Where's neutral?

Just brought home my new 2012 Touring. Extremely difficult to find neutral. And on those rare occasions that I can find it, I have to disengage the clutch and then reengage it in order to shift out of neutral. Is this typical of a new Rocket?
  5. 2012 Rocket Touring ABS

Just out of curiousity, how many people have a 2012 Rocket Touring with ABS in the United States? My dealer said that they were not sold in the states.
  6. Wrong year

I thought I was buying a 2012 Touring with ABS. My insurance agent said the VIN on the bike lists it as a 2011. I checked myself and it is listed as a 2011 on the internet. I have to go home tonight and make sure that the paperwork VIN and the VIN on the bike match up. If it really is a...
  7. Longhaul touring seat and Rivco risers

I just got my new 2012 Touring and it came with the longhaul touring seat. I was wondering how many of you have this seat and the Rivco risers, and what you think about the combination. I read one thread by someone who felt that the risers weren't necessary once he put the longhaul seat on...
  8. Bye bye Tbird

I've had Harleys (Road King, Streetglide) but decided to try something else so I bought a BMW R1200RT when I moved to NC. The BMW was a great bike but not the kind of riding I like so I bought a T100 to go with it. I was so impressed with Triumph that I sold both and bought a 2011 Tbird...
  9. Thinking it over

I currently have a 2011 Thunderbird and absolutely love it. But recently my wife has been joining me for rides with a great group of riders that I've met. Some of the rides may be anywhere from 4-6 hours. I'm comfortable on my Tbird for about four hours, but my wife wouldn't even do well in...
