    Mine also shows one bar less if you don't fill it all the way. By looking into the tank it might look like it is full, but it is not. You need to be brave and with a slow flowing fuel, add more. It then will show all the bars. Fill like to the metal plate.

    You can buy Thunder Box (TB) - HealTech Electronics Ltd. (ebay is a good source). You can get one or two rail versions, I'd recommend 2 rail, it is a bit more expensive but can split the use into 2 tiers. No need to remove tank. Only if you really want to.

    Depends how you use it. Some people are rear brake users, others try to do the right way, and do rear+front matched. Some live on the edge and just use the front brake, suddenly. So, your milage will vary.
