Hmm.....When the light came on 4 months ago, I connected with TuneECU and didn't think about the license aspect until it told me my license had expired. The original license was good for 5 bikes. I'll have to double check that....

You don't need the software.
You simply set the date (year) in the Triumph settings back by one year; the Triumph software then thinks it is the year 2025. And if the message appears again next year, just set the year back to 2025 again.
 
Reset the year..... My natural instinct is to set the date correctly, but after giving it 5 secs of thought I realized I don't care what
the year is. All I care about is the time. Reset the year and we're all good.
