Well, I have just ordered a Rocket GT, for collection in early June.

I've not had a bike this big before and I am slightly terrified about the ride home, but I am really looking forward to it!

I spent many years commuting in all weathers, but I am now retired self-unemployed so I am a classic fair weather rider.

You ordered the Rocket Storm GT, I also have a new model '26. No worries about riding how, it does'nt ride heavy at all, it is very easy and light riding, you'll be positive surprised. Also with rain or in curves stabel. Within a minute you can get the hang of it. ok?

Welcome from Michigan. The weight will melt away once your going and the power band is above 4000 rpm so its not like its just going to explode with uncontrolable speed. It would kill me having to wait for it though.

Your going to enjoy it. Also you can move the forward pegs an inch in each direction which makes a difference so keep that in mind. If your on the shorter side you might like mid position controls better. Good luck with your new bike when it comes.

Welcome from Exotic Idaho. I have an original Rocket III. It is big as I've dressed it up for touring. I have to say the Gen 2 bikes which I recently purchased a 2023 R3 GT. I am amased at the difference between these 2 bikes. The R3 GT rides and handles almost as easy as my 2022 Bonneville T120 and 2023 Tiger 900 GT. Truely amazing.
