Woke up this morning and with a cup of coffee in hand I watched the sunrise. From that campsite.

Got all packed up and then set out for the reason I came to the area. I couldn't think of a better way to end this adventure than with the famous Forrest Gump run. "I'm pretty tired. I think I'll go home now"

Now I do the classic turn and burn. Time to start the next ride.... outer banks for bike week....maybe. or head to Virginia and grab the truck. Either way another 2200 miles coming up on the R3T.

Well the 2009 had 8600 miles on it when I got it a couple months back. What a **** shame! Touring is in the name and it's never been toured. Only one way to fix this problem, go on the road for a couple weeks with it. Loaded it up and took off from Colorado Springs yesterday. Plan is to hit the national parks in NM, AZ and Utah. Might hit the Pacific just to say I hit both coasts on a bike within a year.

I'm on the verge of making a purchase on a blue 2007. Maybe I'll see you. I'm doing the same.

Well in the spirit of the classic turn and burn. A couple ambitious days, I made it all the way to Nashville and staying hour south of Cincinnati. This will give me time to have lunch my mom tomorrow and stay the night at Grandma's in eastern Ohio. Then Friday I will make my way up to NY to hopefully close on the house.

I gotta say the that I love this bike. Almost put 4000 miles on it now already. And the 600 miles days werent having me limp when I got off. Miles since Sunday
