Here is Lake Mead while it still exists.
You could almost cross the while on the bike further enhancing that Tiger spirit...

Looks like a great trip and the right time of year. Hope it continues to go well.

Stopped at a grocery store to get something for breakfast. I got off the bike and this guy was in his truck parked next to me. He leaned out and said he has never seen a Triumph that big before. I told him most people don't (heard 3 times now this trip). We got to talking about motorcycles. Well long story short, he said "Well that is a bad ass motorcycle and you are a bad ass guy for riding it."

Just wanted to share with the class that yall are old scooter trash certified bad asses.

Well yesterday I went to Bryce Canyon NP.

Stopped at a gas station yesterday. Guy walks up and said "Brought out the little bike today I see." We got to talking motorcycles. He was a Valkyrie himself and confessed he wanted to a Rocket himself because a Valkyrie is a big bike but not 2300cc big.

St George is a beautiful area. That’s why so many people are moving there. Just a heads up. If you’re coming into California to ride the coast stay south of Los Angeles due to heavy rain all the way up to Oregon. It clears Monday. You will enjoy San Diego area if you make it out alive going through LA that is. Head down and ride fast. If you do go up Hwy 1 you will really enjoy the beauty. Maybe hit Lake Tahoe also. Cali has a lot to offer. It’s the people that inhabit this state are the problem. We get the degenerates no one else would take. I’m a prime example.

Sadly I wont be making out that way, yet. Getting ready to close on some property in NY and the deed signing is getting close. It's why I took the trip to keep my mind off of it while the lawyers did their stuff. But doing all of HWY 1 is on my list. So I will be back.
