2025 Triumph Rocket 3 Storm GT
decided I'm going to buy a Honda gl1800 to help with my wifes riding discomfort. It will be good for both her and me for longer rides and I can return my back sissy bar to its factory pad. I doubt she will ever wanna ride on the rocket after taking a ride on the goldwing.

Going to look at the pictured 06 goldwing wednesday. Buying it from an older guy. Has 79,000 miles so still plenty of life left in it. My wife can't wait for the upgrade. I've been wanting a new wing for a long time now. I've have older one (77 and 84) so this new one will be a nice upgrade from my previous ones. Less miles to rack up on the new rocket as well just more maintenance to do on each bike.

Nice. I had a 2014, Bought it to ride to Alaska. Made it to Prince George BC. Then the tires looked like they wouldn't make it. And 7 days of rain in the forecast made me head down to Kelowna and get tires.......FYI, air filter is a little "involved" on these bikes.

My brothers Mark and Pierce have Goldwings, and Mark's son Jeremy has a Goldwing and they love them. I've worked on Pierce's GW and it's "involved" to do anything on that bike. Mark and I put the lower cowling light kit in it and that turned out to be an all-day project.

I already watched the video, seems a bit more involved than the rocket. My 77 wing you just opened the panel to get to the fuel filler and unscrewed a couple wing nuts and the filter was right there. I'm sure everytime I gotta remove all the tupperware I'm going to regret my decission 😆 but now my rocket is stock looking again and my wifes back will feel much better.

I always thought it was a waste riding a gold Wing solo. One of the best two up bikes there is. My passenger was a 5 gallon gas can ,getting ready for the Alaska highway. That the bike never saw.

Time to plan a trip. I will probably be pretty much done buying bikes for a long time once I get the wing the rocket and the wing pretty much cover all the kind of riding I need to do where I live. I guess until they come out with a 3.0L rocket lol

3.0 liter Rocket TOURING!. ha ha. I cant believe Triumph allows the brilliant 2.5 to languish in one (mostly) platform. They need a fully faired, proper GT. With some sustained 90 mph comfort aerodynamics. A Rocket Wing.

That would sell real good if they made one a ligit touring model.
