Question about Noise while releasing clutch

@Falconbill can you give us an update on how your clutch is doing? Also, I have a few questions and other points....

Ladies and gentleman, @Falconbill has left the building.

I can't find the clutch on Hermy's, but found the diagram here...

...and just entered the parts #s on Hermy's. Warning, Adept gets terrible reviews.

I'm getting ready to get into my clutch later this year and replace the plates/springs so I'm hopefully done with this once and for all. I am somewhat confused about ordering parts as on bike-parts-triumph.com the default quantity for the plate kit T1171015 is 7 and at $200 each that adds up quick. The service manual doesn't give me any useful ordering info either. I don't want to put it all back together to find out that I missed something so anyone who's done this before please chime in.

That has to be a typo. I ordered the kit in case I need it at the 40K service (overdue). I don't think I looked in the box, but will try to remember to check and report back. I also ordered new springs. and the #22 washers, as I have an air leak somewhere in the system.

Thanks, I will ordering any associated washers and seals as well minus the dowels which should be fine. I'll post my parts list before that though in case I missed something.

I have no issues like this but would like to follow the thread to see the results.
I agree, no issues from what I've noticed. I always use Triumph oil in my newer GT. I use to use Castrol 4T in my R3T, but the dealer said not. Since it is still under warranty, I don't have an issue with that. I worry about friction modifiers as well with different oils. With all that said, I do notice a little studder/jutter when taking off in first gear. I never considered it to be any kind of a issue just being the way it is. Lingering on the clutch on takeoff seems to be the problem rather than just letting it out and going. My clutch doesn't get a lot of use with the quickshifter installed. I've got that figured out so I just give it throttle and go.

Doesn't sound like you have the problem being discussed here which is good. You might want to spin this thread back to the beginning to get an idea of what the issue affecting some of us is exactly and that's only those of us who found their way to this forum, there are probably more. Anyhow, I'll update here when I actually get into the clutch which is due for inspection in 6000mi but I rather get this done this winter before my riding adventures next year.

Definitely a typo. Here's what came with my order - just one of #5....

Sweet, thanks for confirming. I already ordered one kit assuming as much. This is my list plus the crankshaft locking pin which came to $660 plus 10% tariff whenever it gets to customs. I got a couple of extra things like the stupid finishing cover for the rear wheel which melted while drying in the sun as the stainless steel dog bowl it was in somehow concentrated to sun on it.
