That sounds a fair bit of dosh, but includes dyno time I'd guess so probably not too bad.

Doesn't include dyno time if the ecu is just mailed to the company, right?

oh yeah, that's right, it's a mail in. $700 sounds like a lot compared to TuneECU, but then ya don't have that option, so . . .

So they just download the Penner tune from tuneecu and then flash your ECU for $700?

BT MOTO tune for my 2021 R3 GT was $895...not including installation. You send BT your ECU, they install the tun4e and send it back. Very short turnover time and real performance increase. Most of the gain is that they raise the redline so that is where most of the power increase resides!

So what happens when the dealer overwrites the code? And no real time tuning specific to the bike? Doesn't sound like a very good deal.

Oh. No trouble whatsoever, you just send the ECU to BT MOTO again with $895. They will be happy to flash it right back for you.

You can just reload the tune after you get the bike back from the dealer if its gone. They ( BT moto) aren't going to charge you again. I'm putting on a slip on and manifold and I emailed them, and they sent me a new tune for it. No more money involved.
