Ok,

I have a strange front end wobble that has started on my 2004 Rocket, it's happening on deceleration and cornering. Tyres look fine, Ive checked tyre pressures and front is 34psi and rear 40psi, so not pressure low. Ive checked front wheel bearing, no sideways odd movement, no heat from bearing area, forks are ok, oil and seals done last year, Im not getting any odd movements from head bearing, or bars. Question I have is could the rear end cause front wobble? Has anyone else had this issue?

Absolutely YES. The rear wheel bearings can cause tire shift and it's felt in the front end. The rear wheel has three sets of sealed bearings. The two inner bearings are seperated by a spacer tube and then the third bearing is part of the cush drive and goes into the bevel box when the wheel is mounted. With a 2004 model you'll need to get the correct bearing part numbers. but more than likely that's where you're problem is. This is the exploded drawing from a 2006 model standard RIII: The #2 item is CRITICAL to proper torqueing of the axle nut as it rests against the two inner bearing inner races.

You drift them out with a punch and then seat them with hammer. I used a socket that was nearly the same outside diameter as the bearing to seat. The spacer tube is a bit tricky, so I used the axle as a guide to seat the bearings onto the spacer. Once the bearings are seated the spacer is held in place by friction. Triumph offers a tool to draw the beariings in if you want to be legal. Rainman also has a point, check your tires.

on my 07 if i take my hands off the bars on decel at around 50 to 40 i get a wobble to tank slapper on different tire types.
and it seems worse if i am loaded up in the back i can feel the front acting up when pulling in gas stations or trying to do tight maneuvers.
