Went out to the garage this afternoon after putting on some break-in miles this morning to clear the maintenance minder on the dash. It had timed out without meeting the minimum mileage, so I was going to do a simple reset. Loaded my TuneECU up, connected and had the wrench gone in about 30 seconds. I then did a check of the ECU Map that was running the bike and wouldn't you know it was the same map I had downloaded a week ago and then modified its ETV (3) table to get rid of the factory restrictions on throttle roll-up. I had told myself I was going to wait until I had the minimum 600 miles in before making any changes, but heck I was connected and had gone thru the hassle of pulling the headlight fuse and everything so I went ahead and downloaded my modified map. I'm an impatient SOB. After what seemed like 20 minutes waiting for the progress bar to finish the bike kick started the fuel pump indicating it was done. I went into 'Tests and Adjustments' to reset the adaptations and once that was done, fired the bike up. Purred like a sleeping dragon. Verified I was still in SPORT mode and then took it around the block to make sure the fueling was good. On the way back to the house I gave it the beans. Oh baby is the fueling ever GOOOOOD!!!!! Me likey!!
