I had a 2011 Rocket 3 for 3 years and now I have another one.
Good to be back.

My only complaint is I wish the bars were back a little. I know some of you have done bar risers but im not sure about fitment.

WELCOME Back!  Think of the new New R3 as an upgraded Speed Triple with some R3 DNA...

Oh I knew the ergonomics going in on both bikes.
Im not sure I want to change bars on that bike especially.
At some point I may do risers or Ill keep it as is.

Your girlfriend
If you want the bars back the GT bars are your best bet. The risers bring it up and slightly back although not much. I had them on my 14 Rocket and I noticed the better hand position but it didn't bring it back much. I have T-Rex arms so there's that.

The GT bars are a little "too cruiserish" for me.
If I get around to it ill try the risers for 100 bucks, if not Im good.
Im more concerned with why this engine doesnt make 200hp, lol

Yeah, I've seen that stuff but I have no idea how to do all that.
Not too hard if you have a decent Android device, an OBDLink LX or MX+ and TuneECU. I documented the process and the pitfalls of resetting the Adaptions on my YouTube channel: Rocket Custom Tune and plenty of others here have done it and can help. Penner is on here a fair bit too...
