Can a Rocket III take down the establishment, and rule this island

So the trans is on it's way to Bill of Robinson Industries Inc. in New York.

Meanwhile, some repair work on the Hayabusa head and lapping valves

And the trans is back from Robinson Industries, full shebang. Billet 4th, undercut everything and circlip/groove upgrade.
Probably gonna be a month or 2 before I get s chance to fit it though :-(

I guess once you get all together and getting running I'll have to book a trip to Ireland for a test ride😁😁 Aussuming our Rocket 3 ride at Bonneville goes as planned in August. It would be really cool to get the supercharged record out there.....just saying.

I'd love to ship it to the states and partake in some racing in "Mexico" too 😁

If you venture over the next few years we'll help you get on the salt and perhaps a speed record trophy for your favorite place in your shop. The record in the 3000cc modified blown partially streamlined class is just of 161 mph. However, the big engine Rocket 3 especially the first edition is like riding a snake down a frozen mountain with it trying to bite you anytime when you get over 150 mph.

Appreciate the offer!
161 doesn't sound like much for a record but one really needs to be lucky with the salt I understand.
I'd need to be doing 180-185 in the quarter to match the top bikes on this island in the closed road drags.

It doesn't but these bikes it get real exciting out there. The hardest bikes I ever ridden out there by a huge factor. I wouldn't advise any rider not to ride a Rocket 3 as a first ride on the salt. The helicopter ride to hospital is over $54,000😄😄

Finally got a little bit of time to throw the Robinson trans into the engine.
Also drowned the gear change actuator bolt with green high strength loctite for good measure, while in there.
Had it done before but why not re-do.
Buttoned it up with torquing the main bearing ladder and crankcase bolts.

Now to roll it over and pull the head.
Have to replace the titanium valve retainers and the cam timing gear on the crank nose that broke.
Aaaand inspect the pistons now that I'm tuned up to about 70% throttle and 6000rpm - and change them out for the slightly lower comp set I got custom made but are sitting there unused.
