Haha. I have a little sympathy for people riding behind and on my right, mind you it'll still be loud, just not quite as much so.

The socially acceptable version is a 2.5" baffle in an 18" megaphone with packing.

The loud one is a flaring 2.5" to 3" baffle in a 13" megaphone with no packing at all.

OK GOC, we have place to stay come Tuesday the 8th and 9th. The rest of the pack will be arriving Thursday the 10th. We will move into house 22 at that time. We will have two extra days of riding! You will be ridding there following me on the right side of the road, 75mph, 6-7 hours. Your bike should be here by then. If it is not, we have a plan B. I plan drive/ride back to Houston, Monday the 14th and take you to the airport sometime Tuesday the 15th. 10/4?

For the rest of you'all, the reservation map posted is not correct. The place is booked for Friday 11th and Saturday 12th. As it looks right now everyone is covered. If you are not, speak-up to see if I can help place you.

Wilson, don't know about your plans yet.

Clint, I understand you have an unpredictable special delivery. Even I want to see those two babies. We'll see what happens.

That's it for now.
Hi Rick, Thank you once again, that all sounds perfect. This is going to be one big tick on the top of the bucket list of things to do BEFORE I'm to old and infirm. Now all we need is the weather to play ball too!
Got a few enquiries.. Not having been to the States for longer than 3 hours - passed through Newark airport on the way to the Caribbean - what are the costs of daily living? By this I mean lifes little necessities such as beer, food, etc..? I'm certainly aware that the price of petrol/gas is substantially cheaper than here, just wondering on the other essentials!:thumbsup:

I just came back from the doctor. Had a chunk of wax lodged in my ear canal that would not budge. It took 2 minutes for the doctor to solve the problem. The bill was $437. Took my dog to the vet with a skin infection. It took $900 to get him on an antibiotic. Money is worthless and whoever can screw you for it probably will. Ridding with this Gang... Priceless.

You will be taken care off. Old School, with pride Brother. Morris and others started that tradition with HansO, and we will honor it. At the 22 the OllBull will slice the bacon and we will all eat, drink and have a blast riding the Hills of Texas.

As for the weather... we pray for fair weather. Bring your rain gear.
