triumph rocket roadster
Hi everybody, newcomer here from belgium age 52,drive a rocket Roadster 2008 bought it 2, 5 year ago with 20000k on the counter and now have 50000k on the counter.

Here I want to share some experience with the problems I've had so I can help other with their problem. The first months the engine sometimes just fell silent or after a tank turn he wanted to just start a couple of times to a triumph dealer who could not find the problem because at that moment nothing was going on. After a few times I happened to be searching and go with coincidence, once again to stand still, the connectors of the ECM to shake a little bit and the pins of the ECM to inflect a little was solved that problem.

2nd problem was a leak in the raer of the engine at the drive shaft when disassembling the swingarm I smelled that oil came not from the engine but from the bevel box this oil has a very distinct smel it was the seal of the input shaft of the bevel box at the dealer they told me that there is no spare parts to get his for this component. After research I decided to disassemble the bevel box what I have seen, is that all the bearings and gaskets that are ordinary standard bearings and seals are, but metric, the input shaft is also to disassemble this is just turned into the command box with screw I have made a slide a of those works on YouTube
tittle: leaking bevel box triumph rocket Roadster.

Hoping a few rocket riders from the need to have helped
