    Thanks for all the input. Im getting new heated grips put on but probably for the last time. Triumph wont cover it under warranty and the dealer is hosing me over, as they wont stand behind me on this. And I will find another dealer, as Im about done with this one. They make a crappy product...

  4. Throttle trouble

    Mine was the heated grip that broke, same thing, cheap plastic. However, it broke not once, but twice now. Triumph replaced it the first time under warrenty but wont fix it the second time. They make good products, but not this one. Cheap plastic, metal throttle cable = broke grip!!!

    I was wondering if anyone else out there has had this issue or just me. I bought my 2008 R3T brand new in March 2008. I had the heated grips installed shortly after but after less than 5000 miles the throttle cable broke off the grip and I had to limp home at idle speed. Triumph replaced them...

    My dealer quoted me 800 something for the 10K service. Why the big difference in prices for the same service? Might be time to find another dealer.
