    Sorry, I'm a little slow, I don't follow you? To further explain, I believe MD has tuneboy and a powercommander, so if a zero map is loaded in the powercommander then he is essentially running only the tuneboy tune or stock tune if that is what is loaded in the ecu.

    Zero map = nothing. So you are essentially running a stock tune or whatever Tuneboy tune you loaded. :roll:
  5. Adjusting the Cam Chain?

    It's self adjusting. Don't pop the tensioner out. It will release tension on the chain which could allow the cams to rotate or the cam chain could drop off the bottom of the crank gear. Otherwise you need to take off the radiator and pop the front case cover off. I read on the .net site...

    Look at the tunes for the offroad and aftermarket exhaust systems.
  7. Oil Filters

    You need to make sure the internal by-pass valves have the same ratings. I believe the Triumph filters are made by Toyo Roki.

    What's the thermostat in the Rocket rated to open at? I would guess around 180 F, the fan kicks on at 211 F.

    Do you think a few degrees one way or another is going to matter? The ECU reads the voltage inputs from the sensors, could the problem be in the conversion of those voltages in the units you have hooked up to the bike? 140ci- I think the ambient baro pressure sensor takes readings on start...

    I would start with replacing the O2 controller for the PCIII.
  12. secondary removal and problems?

    Secondaries should be fully open at idle anyway. Nothing the secondaries do would affect idle, except they partly close on start up then open once running. I didn't notice any stops for the secondaries so plates or no plates shouldn't matter. How would the secondary stepper motor know...

    Because an R6 can turn 14,500 RPMs.
  14. oil out the breather

    What did you do with the breather after the uni mod? Did you leave it connected to the air box?
  15. Popping out of 2nd

    Practice a less than red line, make sure you have the clutch pulled in all the way. It is comman to pop out of first when taking off and can be hard to find neutral also until broken in. Some of the break in is for the rider also. :wink:
