    Yesterday I was out on my 05 and when at a stoplight in first gear with the clutch pulled in, the bike moved forward just a little like the clutch wasn't fully engaged. It did it again when I got home in the garage. Other than that, it shifts like normal and seems to run exactly like it always has.

    Thanks for the reply. I figured it has to be that easy! Apparently I just wasn't trying hard enough. I could see how it comes off, it just wasn't doing what I wanted it to. I'll give it another try later!

    I didn't mention where I'm from in my first post. I've lived at the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri for 38 years. It's beautiful here, but we are limited on bike shops near us.
