    After 2 days and S$280, my bike is up and running again! Thanks to you guys and this site, got the technician to go straight to replace the detent spring rather then pulling the engine out or wasting time diagnosing.

    Dear friends, after reading around the forum, I concluded that I may have a damaged detent spring on my 08 touring. The question I have is that can I still continue to ride it for the time being? I can still shift and all that, just it it pops back into neutral when I cruise at gear 3 or 4...
