I have been up all night and finally have calmed down enough to think. Zeus, my beloved Great Dane, passed away early this morning in his sleep at the age of 10. As many of you know he had a tumor removed almost 2 months ago and was doing quite well. But we knew at his age we weren't going to expect many miracles. He hasn't been himself the last 2 days and we were bracing for the worst. After letting him out about 2 am he settled into his bed and went away. Xena, our other Dane is just laying around. Shes several years younger and in good health. Right now were just waiting for the vet to open to see if they can arrange a pick up and cremation. Zeus is 170 lbs and I just cant lift him alone. We will miss him dearly............
