Rotator cuff surgery yesterday. Had a nerve block . All was good untill I started getting feeling back early this morning. I made sure to have surgery in winter, -25 c. Should be able to hang onto handle bars in time for spring. Lots of time for daydreaming and remembering last years rides, over 40,000 kl. Only God is good, all the rest of us fall short of His glory. Make sure you know the answer to the question. Hope to see Rockets on the road.

Ya I remember the Nerve Block and wishing I could go back the next day and get another one Had my rotator cuff gone when they wired my labrum back to the socket Listen to the rehab people and don't push it past what they say. They can hurt you enough anyway !!!! Good luck

+1 on the Yeeoouuch. had that done on both shoulders and biceps tendons had to be re-attached too. ICE, ICE, & MORE ICE... and like the others replied here; LISTEN TO THE P/T!!!! That rehab process is almost more important than the surgery, without a doubt. Also it is very important to continue to do the R/C exercises & proper warm up from now on, to prevent having to go through it again.
Most importantly, sounds like you have the best healer of all on your side

Wishing you a safe and short recovery (but do pay attention to those therapists, they know what they are talking about!).

Heal well. Expect it to take a full year to be the best you can be. Really a full year.

Here is a funny thing you can tell the P/T when you start that. They will most likely ask you what your expectations are. Tell them you are a professional arm wrestler and you have to be ready for the championship match in 8 weeks. Say it with all seriousness and watch the look on their faces. I did that to my P/T and it was funny as heck watching their faces and then what they said to me about that. Then I let them know I was pulling their legs. I know the answer to the question. Thank you Jesus.
