R-C surgery is one of the very most painful surgeries to recover from. Did they send you home with an ice machine? I stayed hooked up to mine as nothing came close to the relief it gave. If they didnt, have your wife call and get one. Insurance pays for it. It has a pad that wraps around the entire area & then a container with ice water that flows through hoses into the pad & all throughout the pad. Its a lifesaver. I hope you have that or can get it! Still, it will take about a week or a little longer.
The cold rush cyrotherepy machine really helps. My main concern is I've got the timing right for recovery. I hate to lose riding time.
You have a "cooler" type container holding ice and water. It has an output and input hose, they lead to a thin pad made to wrap around the specific body part that is injured. The ice water circulates thru the pad so it stays colder than just an ice pack because the ice doesn't melt. It is better than it sounds like it could be! Best thing since sliced........ cold beer....... ALMOSTTell me more about this "Cold Rush" thingy.
Is it like an electric ice pack?
