Winter sux bad. Ozzies, tell me about Sunshine and warmth!

Got my riding done early today, it's 37 and a bit steamy after the recent rain. A lot of bikes out today, saw 2 other Rockets. Home by 10:30, jump into the pool for an hour then retreat indoors with the aircon on.

Thy say a picture tells a thousand words and you wanted to know about sunshine and warmth. I took the ZX-14R (I know it's an R3 forum, but we all have our dirty little secrets) out for a quick fang today and on the road to a little town called Guyra in northern NSW I came across this vista. It is a nice shade of green around here at the moment with the warm weather and reasonable rainfall. P.S. 28 Celsius is about 82 Fahrenheit and the outside temperature on my bike is surprisingly similar to the inside temperature.....

40 of us camped in swags overnight out the back of the Ongerup pub ..weather was great. Fresh from the paddock BBQ lamb for dinner .. and a really cute skimpy. Had a spirited ride from Albany considering it's a public holiday weekend (double demerit points apply) . speed limits 110 .. we were sitting on 180 most of the way . So the fact we didn't encounter any cops makes it a good Australia Day ride in my book ;)

You Aussies are relentless buggers... 6" of snow here yesterday with another 12-16" coming tomorrow.:(:banghead:

@TriumPhil You lucky devil you, looks like we are going to miss all the accumulation here in NOVA. It will get just bad enough with slush to keep me in the cage for the next two days without the joy of shoveling the white stuff...

Hey Ricochet........made it to Florida....
I may not have my Rocket but I don't have snow either....
That said for those of you facing the blizzard comming up, take care.

Beautiful pics mate.
Should of included the Kawa; I think we all like looking at bike **** not matter the brand. :)

I ride all year around here; but it'll be nice to get some green in a couple of months.
