Where do I plug the darn thing in?

Just got a 2011 R3 Roadster and don't know where to plug the cable in for TuneECU. Also does the key need to be on or the bike running? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

The OBDII plug is under the seat.

Next to the battery, looks just like a car connector (in fact it is!)

on left side of battery on Std model I cant imagine they woulhave moved it looking from above you only see the back of it just look net to the battery and gently pull any thing that looks like it, it should have a black plastic boot. hope this helps

thanks guys, I didn't expect in to be facing down with a rubber boot on it. made I should of looked a little harder

Also, make sure that you look through the TuneECU manual. It will tell you the proper sequence depending on the activity that you are about to do. In most cases, you just want the key on without the engine running. Other times you do have the engine running (such as balancing the throttle bodies).

During the engine off operations, make sure that you pull the headlight fuse (20 amp). Very important. Of course, when you get ready to start the engine you have to reinsert the fuse.

You can get the H-4 Relay kit with Lo-Beam switch and bypass pulling fuses.
