Sometimes owners of bikes will hang around their bikes to answer before they go up on stage. If I see an owner o f a similar age or model ill ask them if they have any leads for the bike your looking for.

I sold my 1981 Yamaha 1100 XS Special in 1996 because I had another motorcycle and no garage space. I want it back!

My best friend and roommate had a 1980 850 Midnight special. I loved it but because he was my best bud I had to go bigger and went with the 1100 and paid $250.00 for the banana seat. That was expensive for a seat in 1981 but well worth it. He used mine to usher his girlfriend around due to the comfort of the banana seat. I rode his and really enjoyed it but the 81, 1100 is what I miss. Thanks for the info, I'll take a look.
Update: I just looked at it. It looks great I must say. Lots of memories of my friends 850. Wow is all I can say. Thanks for the find.
