I have more bike jackets than I do motorcycles including 3 Dainese 72 leather and 2 Dainese textile jackets (perforated and solid) - thanks to all the great sales at Motorcycle Gear. At this point in my life I really don't care so much anymore about things being "right", although I really used to do so. Now I just do what I want but I know what you mean about also looking the part (and I definitely mean that in a good sense). I am particularly fond of the Dainese brand, the way they fit and their consistently outstanding quality but I also have other cruiser jackets and then some touring jackets that I wear with my other bikes or on the R3 GT when it is cold...
Years ago my daughters asked me why I don't have specific MC brand leather jackets and I told them I am not brand specific nor loyal to any brand. I told them someday I might get a big piece of velcro put on a jackets and then just put on a patch of whatever brand I'm riding that day...
But that still hasn't happened to date!
