That’s a Velvet Ant. Only bug that hurts worse is an asp caterpillar. In Tx we have another big wasp called a cicada killer, but they are more scary than painful. The worst wasp here is a good old fashioned Red Paper wasp. THAT will get your attention. FYI, Zyrtec and Benadryl are not just for sinuses
