Visipath headlight modulator question

I have wired up the Visipath modulator and am experiencing some odd behavior. My tail lights flash along with the headlights when the modulator is activated (unit activates in daylight with high beams on). I am concerned that I have an electrical issue that could cause further damage, in addition to the fact that the unit is not functional as is. I am not very knowledgeable regarding wiring and would appreciate any advise offered.

I installed a modulator on moto guzzi afew years back. Was burning out the bulb once a month. Sorry i cant help with your wiring,but sounds like its tied in too far down the harness from headlight.
For me ,the safety factor isn't there, if you constantly fry the bulbs. Better to go with good bulb imho .

I'd just get the Hyper Whites and call it a day.
