My question is where under the bike do you place the jack. I have the one pictured and it grabbed the frame on my Harley. Kinda leary about lifting the engine in the right spots.

I took a pic of the hamster bedding pad I use to distribute the weight evenly across the bottom of the casing. It's just compressed woodshavings from a pet store.. I place two pallets with the jack assembly in between and drive up and over the plywood side, then turn the pad over and jack the machine up. I strap to the ends of the pallets for stability. For oil change type maintenance, I just remove the jack assembly once the bike is on the two pallets.
The time of year when one doesn't ride because the temperature is usually below 10 and it's usually raining and the nearby fun mountain roads are covered in snow.
Oh yeah, and I hate you if you can ride year round.
