..but ya gotta take into consideration the number of bikes that have been fixed by Triumph even though the warranty has expired..a bunch me thinks..that alone would steer me toward me buying another Triumph bike..ya won't see Honda or Harley doing that..
warranty issue as in: a part broke and Triumph refuesed to fix?
a part broke and your DEALER refused to fix
a part broke and Triumph fixed it under warranty
not a very specific question...
some dealers are really cool, even on a used bike will look up to see if the part was ever affected by a warranty or a service bulletin before charging you for it.
some are stupid, sleazy and lazy and only trying to make a buck.
Mines a 2005 and has never been touched by a dealer... NEVER
I'm knocking on my wooden desk as I voted. No, I am not really at all superstitious, (fingers and legs crossed) . I have not had one issue with my bike, NOT ONE. It is two years old and I ride it like I stole it. PC III, GiPro, Preds, Triple Filters, Goodyear Eagle F1.
Hey skip on your wifes 05 did they not do some sort of upgrade cause they did on mine along with some eng and trans work they put in a new drive shaft aparently it was mine that they figeurd out the some one had miss marked the new r3t shafts with the standerd r3 pn it was a big hold up on getting my bike back but its all good now have over 10000 k since it was done
the reason for the poll is i'm interested to find out what percentage of owners have not had to return their bike to the dealer other than for normal servicing, hopefully things like "i heard a strange noise" that turned out to be nothing won't make it to the not me list, along with blown globes, worn tyres, recalls, etc
