I got into a minor front end collision, my fender its a gonner and my fork got twisted a little bit (not bented) so now when my handle bar is straight the wheel is at 11 oclock.
my question is if this is easy to fix without replacing new fork? and if yes, can someone be very specific on how to without me going to the dealer (they charge an arm an a leg). i'm pretty technical guy so if someone can explain i'm pretty sure i'll nail it.
Thanks

Sounds like your triple tree is skewed. Pull the fork tubes out, if there's a lot of resistance the upper and lower tree clamps are not aligned. You'll need to realign those and as long as the fork tubes are straight, should slip back together just like new. Good luck.

OK, after removing the fork how do i make sure the triple tree are aligned with each other (top and bottom) and after aligning the triple tree sliding the fork into place how do i make sure that the fork is in equal height on both side . if someone can add pics with explanation will be appreciated....does anyone here have the service manual on a pdf file?
