tried to get an answer at 2 other triumph forums, but no joy. I have a thunderbird 1700 but it should be the same as a R3 in how tuneecu works with it. So the question is, i know that when you load a new map the adaptions are reset. But what about if you don't load a new map, but instead you READ the map in your ECU and then change something, lets say idle speed. When you save that change, does the bike reset adaptions the same as when you load a map?

I understand how to do everything, but i wanted to know if that procedure, IE: altering the map you read from the ECU and then saving it, means adaption is erased. I think you said that, but not sure.
