I do a lot of my riding in a stagger . If it's just maybe four or five, we'll ride side by side. No drag racing, no slingshots or flybys, just good hard riding to get where we're going. With all of that said, here's one of my favorite things to do. I save a gear on these long steep grade Ohio hills. When my Harley riding brothers downshift to maintain speed, I shift UP The hard part is watching their expression in the mirror without getting caught......and trying not to smile! I can't wait to take this game to a new level with my Rocket...
What are some of your favorite uses of superfluous TORQUE?

I love the torque.

Taking my 2010 roadster to the dealer on thursday and getting them to load the 2013 tune into it. See if this will take the torque limiter off the first 3 gears.

I'll let you know if it works.

Change to the Bridgestone TC lots more grip, I used to smoke that Metz off a rolling start, can't do that with the Bridgestone........

One of my mates I ride with rides a Kawasaki Vulcan 900, I raced him in top gear, he could chose whatever gear he wanted whilst I was in top gear, the race was from 80klms per hour to 120 Kim's per hour......he never beat me and he is 30kg lighter (yeah yeah I know - that's not hard!!! )

I think my favorite use of torque is to get the jump on a ZX14 or Busa at a stop light and stay ahead of them for the first 3 gears.. After 100 MPH they are gone and there is no way for me to catch up.. but they sure don't know what hit them from a dead stop!.. lol
