Change my own tires.

I was able to change my front tire of the Nomad, but that rear one was impossible for me. The rear MCII was so stiff, I could not get it off/on. Lube, zip ties, long irons, made no difference. I really do not have room in my garage for a tire changing machine like the no mar or the like. I was working on the ground using 2x4's to keep the disks off the ground. That was hard on my back. A local shop had good prices on the MCII's and the mounting. When It comes time to change the tires, I will see if they will mount the MCII's even though the front wheel is at the max width of the range of the front MCII.

Changed my front tire this morning Michelin Commander ll had 25,000+ miles on it probably could have got another 1,000 out of it.

What air pressure did you run to get those kind of miles out of a tire, without cupping??

Do you run commanders on the rear also? If so have you had to change that yet?

Yes 180-65-16 get around 16,000 mi. and they start talking come apart due to the torque I MHO.
