I don't think the wheel is going to fit over the center piece of the tire changer without removing the bearings out of the wheel. This would be aggravating to me.

That piece is threaded on. It holds the wheel down.
 
Here's my set-up.
I would/will install the changer 90 degrees from where it is now for easier use of the bead breaker.
 
Here's why I assembled it and put it to use today.

My tires are OEM from 2011!
Last week I locked up the rear end TOO **** EASY with the Financial Controller on the back.
I guess they were a little harder than I thought; because it looks like the asphalt ripped a couple of hunks out.

I'm pretty sure the Avon Cobras will be a lot better.
 
I didn't read the service manual far enough in advance to have a "Torque reaction bolt" on hand to replace the one already installed.

Can someone advise me on why this particular bolt needs to be replaced???? Besides "MOM told us so"!

I've got it back together with the original bolt for now. Am I going to die in a fiery crash when I take it out tomorrow?
