Do they get out of balance all that much?
I got my mechanic to check them with TB,although he didnt seem to think they would be an issue, and they weren't.

i calibrated mine with tune ecu not long ago one was a slight bit out from two and three and i got it spot on.
it did seem to smooth it out a little .
i dont have alot of faith in the dealerships i like to know it has been done .
if you have the tripple filters the adjustment screws are so easy to access but it might be a bit of a hassle with the standard intake:cool:

I have the triple K&ns :D any secret to adjusting them if they are out of sync?

Yep u will notice two screws one between tb1 and 2 and the second one between 2 and 3 the first screw is for tb 1 the second is for tb 3 adjust them both to match tb 2 using either tune ecu or tuneboy I just turned the screw I needed in small increments and then watched the screen for a second or two before adjusting further . Bike running of course

I have not done it. In fact when I asked my dealer about it, they said they have not had to do one yet. I can't remember the exact specs, but I want to say that they are supposed to be within 5-10% of each other, with using the reading from Cylinder 1 to balance 2 and 3. Page 11.185 of the latest version of the service manual shows where to adjust the TB.

Yeah mine wasn't out by much but I got it much closer than the dealer. Probably because I'm more passionate about my machine than they r going to be . Plus it takes all of ten mins so I'm not paying anyone else to do it
