Thanks for keeping us up on this. Workmanship looks very nice. Hope you have a smooth install!

As I said I would, keep the group updated on this transaction - exhaust was delivered yesterday [ahead of time] and I'm very please with the fabrication and its quality. Took pics of the stock vs this new BugBike version; while they are not exact, these guys did a good job IMO. I plan to get them installed over the weekend and will post a "before/after" of the sound. pics may not be the best in the light of the garage in the early hours - I'll do more in daylight before the swap and post IF they look better.
If I understand correctly from the pictures, a new model is above and older model is down? Or above is OEM slip on?

Geeez keep a man hanging 😂🤣
Sorry bro, had issue with a bolt on heat shield and gave up [3 of 4 went on easily, 4th didn't line up and after wasting enough time, I'lllet dealer fix it... 10k service is due]. I did take it for a ride and it's a very nice change from stock and the look is a fair trade-off

I had similar issue - bit of force was required to bend things to match up screws.

I believe it's the exhaust clamp that's pushing on the heat shield a bit and before I do damage, I'll let the mechanics figure it out. It looks/sounds good and very happy with it 👊🏻... I'm in Communications and can really mess up a good thing, sometimes 🙃

Gotta cut short the bolt on the exhaust clamp. (After you do it up!)
It’s not a perfect fit unfortunately, design flaw in my opinion.
The heat shield does push on the clamp.

I did cut it but can feel it against heat shield... I did this while exhaust was mounted on bike and instructions show beforehand... problem is, it's the top visible screw, it'll get sorted out BUT by someone who does this stuff for a living 😎😉. I've kept on these things before, only making it worse, learned how/when to stop the DYI stuff and get it finished the right way

Grandkids slept over, waiting for them to get up to take pics/video...

Note the top hole not lined up with thread - will get it fixed. I tried rubber clamps to tighten shift but decided I'll wait. I put bags on and looks like that may be an issue on lengthy rides
