I finally sold my 08 Triumph America. Some lucky 16 year old kids dad bought it for him. I've been dreaming of getting an r3 for years now, and finally pulled the trigger. Picked up a 2016 model with just over 1000 miles on it. The previous owner put a Ramair, flyscreen, Carpenter pipes and a tune on it before he decided to let her loose. My lucky day.
I still have a huge grin riding it, even if it's been hot in East Alabama. Of course, it didn't take me long to break something on it. It won't stay in second gear, and I haven't got around to checking the shift detente or dog ears. I'm waiting for it to cool off around here before I start breaking her down in the garage.
But, that's half the fun of having a bike I'm still glad to finally have her, and actually join this community.
Welcome from Exotic Idaho. Won't stay in second you say. Well that is a problem that can be simple or complex. IE: cheap or expensive. Let's get Warp and Claviger involved.
