Starter solenoid relay location

nothing is wrong with bike but I am wondering If someone knows where is this solenoid located on bike, its a very critical component in order to start the bike and would like to know where its located.

I tried searching forums, there was a member who had this replaced but cant find that post/thread anymore.
I also tried searching service/factory manual. No mention about 'how to replace starter relay/solenoid'

is it actually ON the starter motor? I dont think so as the wires are too short on relay in the photo(?)

think of the starter relay as an electrical switch (location to me is unknown) that draws very little currant with very small wires when the relay closes then it carries a larger load with bigger wires to the starter solenoid bigger contacts and the plunger make contact with the starter contacts which puts full battery voltage to the starter.
the starter solenoid is on top of the starter.
the whole prosses starts with minimum volts and end in maximum battery output.

On the touring it is under the left side cover. I bet if you search with your thread title in the search bar, you'll find it.

forward of battery towards which side? left side pannier? front tire side?
