Hi, All! I pick Up my '05 R3 next week!!! I have a question...
Part of my 175-mile 'test ride' was on the superslab, and everyone seemed to be in a hurry. Cruising at the speed limit nearly got me rear ended a couple of times, while some other traffic (mostly big rigs) was going slower than I was. I turned up the wick to triple-digit territory, which got me going faster than everyone else, but there were a few (suv's) that wanted to play. I left them. However, this occurrance brought a question to mind...Has anyone had a problem with speedo error on their R3, and if so, how bad was it? I know the gauges are electronic, so I will not be able to swap gearing and such, but is there any way to make the speedo more accurate, if needed?? Any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated!!!

I believe the speedo error is 6% and can be corrected with a tuneboy . .

And by doing so, it throws your odometer off. So you have to decide what's more important... the correct odometer reading, or how fast you're actually going.

Personally I elected the odometer route because it doesn't matter how fast you go as long as everyone is in your mirror.:D
