i did my 500 mile oil change today. i previously bought 6 compression washers and oil filters (two oil changes worth). what i didnt know, and the dealership didnt say, was that the bike has two sizes of washers. the oil plug takes a larger washer than the two sump plugs. the tank plug also has an o ring on it. currently there is no dealership here in las vegas doing triumph parts. so i reused the one larger washer, and the o-ring too. how do you guys feel about the K&N filter ? i noticed the factory filter is a well built, sturdy filter. the K&N is a little flimsy, and doesnt fit as well. i will do the TOR pipes and cat delete pipe soon, is the K&N filter worth the effort ?
sorry guys, i should have made it more clear- the K&N filter i was talking about was an air filter, i replaced the oem paper filter when i changed oil.
