I believe that is a Moto Guzzi Falcone. 500cc and a beauty. Note the parallelogram rear suspension, external flywheel and a host of other engineering tricks.
I think the best way to answer that is...."maybe".
I have not updated the thread, and I need too. The shop never found a root cause, but I had them put in the Eastern Beaver mod and the Starter Relay mod (which is supposed to address this very issue). So far, so good...<cross fingers>!
