Now that the weather has broke and we were able to ride Sat. and Sunday. We were able to resume our monthly passage to Cassaday, KS. We left @ 8 am and it was 54 dgrs. and 90 miles north it was 44 dgrs. But there was probably about 200 other frozen riders there when we got there. By the end of the day it had made it up to about 64. Great weather for riding with chaps.
There was 5 of us and me out in front. I noticed that thru the corners, they were all slowing down quite a bit. My buddy on the Goldwing said that his bike slipped a couple of times going around a corner in the sand and dirt that is still on the roads from all the snow we have had. They told me that they could see puffs of dust come out from behind my car tire as I was going around the corners. Thats why they slowed down. I never felt a slip one. I drove like I normally do and tried to stear clear of the patches of sand. The car tire performed great.
So just a heads up guys, until we can get a good rain. Don't be diving into unknown corners because there is a lot of debris still on the roads. expecially if you are still riding with a Metz. Just my opinion about the Metz. We all need to watch for debris, c/t or m/t.

Hell, I don't trust the metz unless I'm on nearly white, sunbleached asphalt. After having the thing swing out on me from morning dew, I rarely give it the chance to do it again. Metzler and water I know don't mix, at least dirt and sand are more predictable. :D
I plan to abuse the **** out of it so I can put the Eagle on ASAP.
