same problem as some

can start growing my hair back

thanks all TPS that was the problem back to a big **** eatin grin love my bike just do not like when its not running good almost 50,000 miles on it and with the new TPS she runs great

You jinxed me! My bike was running fine when I put it away but yesterday started to miss at idle and run rough when taking off from a stop . I hooked my my OBDII scanner and predictably got a TPS code, P0223 "throttle position sensor B circuit high output". I just ordered the cable too so I could use Tune ECU. Guess I won't need to wait for that to come in.

I have a dealer about 5 miles away. I'll see how much they want and when they can get it. Otherwise I guess it's Bike Bandit.

Riverside Triumph | Triumph Motorcycles
My dealer just went out of business, i heard good things about Riverside Triumph,Somerville ,Mass. I think i'm going to need the Eastern Beaver,i've been having trouble with the ignition switch. I know it's a haul but good dealers are far and few between. Mike from Corn Pie Classics is said to know his Triumphs also and may be a little closer to you.

omg going crazzzzy

ok I listened TPS OK put one in adjusted with a volt meter to .60 volts ran awesome was so very happy two weeks about 400 miles then it started running like **** seemed like the TPS again so I checked the volt thinking that they might have moved and the volts jumped to 1.03 volts and so I tried to adjust it down and it would not go down .60 volts and I can not get it back down does any body have a thought on what it might be need help I need my bike back

When installing the TPS are you using tuneing software? You need to install it while d performing the full ISCV reset or you will have no way to retract the idle stepper motor so you can set the TPS .60 volts at closed throttle position. Also wjile your at it lubricate the springe netween the throttle bodies and under the boot on the idle stepper motor if the shaft gets to dry and gunged up it will stick and the throttle wile not close or adjust as the sensor readings require it to.
